No. If there is no honest direct comparison, leave “Alternative to” blank. We will represent the product through its primary category, the problem it solves, who it is for, its capabilities, and what makes it distinct.

Choose the closest useful primary category and explain the product clearly in the description and differentiators. A moderator can refine the catalogue placement without forcing an inaccurate comparison. Alt+Native will not independently label a product “category-defining” unless the published evidence supports that wording.

Concierge may inspect the public evidence supplied with a submission and return cited findings. An Alt+Native moderator reviews those findings, the product claims, and the community connection before deciding whether to publish.

No. Publication means the listing passed the catalogue’s review process at that time. It is not a certification, warranty, investment recommendation, or guarantee of future performance.

Both search the same approved Alt+Native catalogue. Native search gives you filters and ranked results; AI chat helps translate a conversational request into relevant catalogue matches. AI chat does not invent or recommend products outside the approved catalogue.
